Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Inc is seeking a Phlebotomist II Site Lead in Guilford, CT, a Monday–Friday role from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM with some weekends. The position leads daily PSC operations, performs phlebotomy with accuracy, and ensures safety and compliance in patient interactions.

The role requires 3+ years phlebotomy and strong customer focus, with opportunities for performance bonuses and comprehensive benefits. Compensation is hourly with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Available weekends/holidays/overtime as needed.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures and prepare for lab testing.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required, safeguarding assets and card data.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and related temperature logs in a timely manner.
• Complete training courses and stay current with phlebotomy techniques.
• Mentor and coach new employees on-site and provide regular input to leaders.
• Coordinate schedules and assist with on-site operations and safety procedures.
