Job summary

Grifols is seeking a Plasma Donor Center Technician to support our Indianapolis operations. You will assist in donor suitability, monitor donors and equipment, and operate plasmapheresis machines while documenting processes to ensure safety and quality.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and typically 2 years of related experience. You will work in a plasma center environment, following FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, and cGMP standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; state licensures if applicable.
• Typically 2 years of related experience in a plasma center or healthcare setting.
• Must be capable of operating and maintaining plasmapheresis equipment and following SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Assists in determining donor suitability for plasmapheresis prior to venipuncture.
• Responds to donor reactions and handles them per guidelines.
• Monitors donors and equipment to ensure donor health and product quality.
• Operates automated plasmapheresis machines and documents exceptions.
• Ensures calibration and maintenance of equipment; may assist with repairs.
• Maintains clean work areas and proper disposal of contaminated materials.
• Keeps thorough production records and builds rapport with donors.
• Follows all applicable regulations, SOPs, and safety protocols.
