Job summary

Grifols is seeking a Phlebotomist– We Train to join our plasma center team in Whitehall, OH. You will assist in donor screening, set up plasmapheresis equipment, and help keep donors comfortable and informed throughout the donation process.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma or GED, can work a flexible schedule, and is committed to safety and quality. Relevant state licensures or certifications are required where applicable, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required or preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed.
• Demonstrated interest in making a difference in the world.
• Obtains required state licensures or certifications where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in determining the suitability of donors.
• Establish rapport with donors to ensure overall happiness while maintaining donor confidentiality.
• Respond to and assist with handling donor reactions.
• Monitor donor and equipment to ensure donor health and product quality.
• Set up, disconnect, and operate automated plasmapheresis machines.
• Disconnect and dispose of contaminated disposable equipment.
