Grifols is seeking an experienced Plasma Center Technician to assist in donor screening and plasmapheresis operations. You will monitor donor health and equipment, operate automated machines, and maintain documentation to ensure product quality and donor safety.

Must have a high school diploma or GED and typically 2 years of related experience. Familiarity with FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, and cGMP is expected. This role requires adhering to safety protocols and reporting any unsafe conditions.

Responsabilidades

• Assists in determining donor suitability for plasmapheresis.
• Responds to donor reactions per guidelines.
• Monitors donors and equipment for donor safety and product quality.
• Operates automated plasmapheresis machines and documents exceptions.
• Ensures proper calibration and maintenance of plasma equipment, may train to repair equipment.
• Disconnects and disposes of contaminated disposable equipment.
• Ensures proper cleaning of equipment and work area between donors.
• Maintains accurate and thorough documentation of production records.
• Builds rapport with donors to support long-term donation.
• Learns and follows state and federal regulations, FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, cGMP and company procedures.
• Reports unsafe situations or conditions to area lead, supervisor or manager.
