Job summary

Grifols is seeking a Lead Phlebotomist to join our North American plasma center team. You will assess donor suitability, respond to donor reactions, monitor donor health and machine performance, and ensure strict documentation and safety standards.

You will operate plasmapheresis equipment, maintain equipment, and uphold regulatory requirements while building strong rapport with donors to support ongoing donation programs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2 years related experience in phlebotomy or donor center.
• State licensures or certifications where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assess donor suitability prior to plasmapheresis.
• respond to donor reactions per guidelines and ensure donor safety.
• Monitor donors and equipment to protect donor health and product quality.
• Set up, operate and troubleshoot automated plasmapheresis machines; document exceptions.
