Job summary

Grifols is seeking a Lead Phlebotomist to join our plasma center team in the United States. You will assess donor suitability for plasmapheresis, monitor donor health, and operate plasmapheresis machinery while ensuring documentation and safety compliance.

Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, donor confidentiality, and adherence to SOPs, CLIA, and regulatory guidelines. This role requires a High School diploma or GED and typically 2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of related phlebotomy/donor center experience preferred.
• Ability to work in plasma center environment with safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist in determining donor suitability for plasmapheresis prior to venipuncture.
• Respond to donor reactions and assist with handling per guidelines.
• Monitor donor and equipment to ensure donor health and product quality.
• Set up, disconnect and operate automated plasmapheresis machines and document exceptions.
• Maintain calibration and maintenance of plasmapheresis equipment and related devices.
