Job summary

Versiti Blood Research Institute is seeking a phlebotomy-focused team member to lead donor collection activities and ensure compliance with DOT guidelines. You will train and mentor staff, perform phlebotomy and donor screening, and coordinate site readiness for blood drives.

The role requires a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and strong problem solving and communication skills. Evening/weekend availability and shift differentials apply, with a robust total rewards package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and GED required.
• Valid drivers license with driving experience.
• Excellent problem solving and judgment abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret SOPs and safety rules.
• Strong math aptitude and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work in a team and communicate clearly.
• Proficiency with Ceridian, Hemasphere, Oracle and HemaTerra systems.

Responsibilities

• Follows DOT guidelines when operating a van and transports staff safely.
• Travels to other collection sites as needed.
• Prepares collection site and sets up technology systems.
• Leads Donor Collection Team and mentors staff.
• Performs phlebotomy, donor screening, and mini-physical.
• Maintains donor records and ensures safety compliance.
