Job summary

Chambers Health seeks a dedicated phlebotomy trainer to educate new staff in BAT and DOT collection procedures. You will oversee calibration, maintenance of BAT equipment, and ensure timely results while maintaining quality standards.

Under supervision of a Medical Technologist or MLT, you will handle specimen collection, prepare samples for analysis, and help manage forms, records, and safety protocols in a fast-paced laboratory setting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Requires strong organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Train new employees for phlebotomy duties including BAT and DOT collection.
• Calibrate and maintain BAT machines.
• Order supplies for BAT, UDS collection and DOT programs.
• Ensure DOT regulations are followed and records retained.
• Collect venous and capillary blood samples as part of screening tests.
• Prepare specimens for analysis under supervision and assist with testing.
