Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Phlebotomist II in Alpharetta, GA. The role requires drawing quality blood samples, preparing them for lab testing, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. You will verify patient information and maintain meticulous records while upholding confidentiality and standards.

Candidates should have 1–3 years phlebotomy experience, with patient service center exposure, and strong customer service skills. This is a 6-month assignment with cross-site coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment highly preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.

Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Explain procedures to patients and create an atmosphere of trust and confidence.
• Perform verification of patient demographic info and initials post-venipuncture.
• Maintain records and documentation with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Work under supervision across multiple sites as needed.
