Job summary

Mindlance seeks a Patient Services Representative II in the Atlanta area to draw quality blood samples and prep specimens for lab testing. You will interact directly with patients, explain procedures, and maintain accurate records across sites as required.

The role requires three years of phlebotomy experience and a high school diploma, with medical training preferred and phlebotomy certification preferred in some states. Weekend, holiday and on-call availability may be needed.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform verification of patient demographic info / initials post-venipuncture to verify tube labeling.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence and patient confidentiality.
• Travel and flexible hours to cover multiple locations as needed.
