Job summary

Carter BloodCare seeks a Phlebotomist 2 to lead safe blood collection at donor centers and mobile drives across Texas. You will manage donor flow, verify eligibility, and provide top-tier customer service while ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will guide daily team activities, participate in leadership training, and mentor new staff. Full-time schedule with training and variable shifts supports life-saving blood donation across the region.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of general work experience OR comparable education in the medical field, such as an internship or externship.
• Customer service experience.
• Prior phlebotomy, blood banking, or medical field experience.
• Prior experience in a highly regulated industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe collection of blood products and manage donor flow, eligibility, and customer service.
• Accountable for daily team functions and problem-solving of personnel or donor concerns.
• Participate in annual leadership/development training and mentor new team members.
• Maintain regular full-time attendance during operation hours.
