Job summary

Salud Medical Center in Woodburn, OR is hiring a Lead Pharmacy Technician. The role develops and maintains standardized workflows, designs training for technicians and front-file staff, and supports order entry and dispensing under supervision.

Responsibilities include scheduling, drug cost analysis, 340B compliance, and inventory optimization in collaboration with the Pharmacy Manager and Purchasing Coordinator. This is a full-time, non-exempt position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two-year Associate Degree in healthcare or business preferred.
• Pharmacy Technician license for WA and/or OR.
• PTCB national certification preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred at high level.

Responsibilities

• Supports order entry and prescription dispensing under supervision.
• Develops standardized workflows and training for staff.
• Coordinates staff schedules and uses scheduling software.
• Monitors recalls, shortages, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Performs 340B audits and compliance tasks.
• Maintains inventory and collaborates with Purchasing Coordinator.
• Enters patient data and processes prescriptions in the system.
• Fills or dispenses medications and delivers to patients.
• Participates in team meetings and huddles with notes and action items.
