Job summary

The Hometown Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support licensed pharmacists in daily operations, including customer service, inventory, and prescription filling. This role may supervise Level 1–3 technicians and ensure accurate, compliant workflows while maintaining confidentiality and efficiency.

Responsibilities include training, scheduling, coordinating with facilities and pharmacists, and ensuring all tasks meet regulatory and company standards.

Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician - preferred or prior experience as a pharmacy technician.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and maintain clear communication with the Pharmacist Manager and Facilities Coordinator.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians; delegate tasks and monitor workflow for accuracy and timeliness.
• Train, mentor and evaluate Level 1–3 technicians; ensure adherence to procedures and regulations.
• Assist with inventory, ordering, receiving, stocking and removal of outdated items.
• Operate robotic packaging systems and verify medication accuracy; document issues and resolutions.
• Coordinate data entry and communication with medical facilities and prescribers as needed.
• Schedule technicians and manage workflow to maintain efficient operations.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, federal regulations and company policies.
