Job summary

Candidates should have at least a high school education (GED preferred), a state pharmacy technician license, and ideally one year of pharmacy experience. Duties include maintaining floor stock and preparing IV medications as required.

Qualifications

• High School Education/GED or equivalent is preferred.
• Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience is preferred.
• One year's pharmacy technical experience is preferred.
• State Pharmacy Technician license required for practice in CA or OR.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for medication preparation, dispensing, and restocking.
• Delivers cassettes to nursing units and serves as a training resource.
• Maintains inventory accuracy and manages expired medications.
• Prepares IV medication products as per regulatory guidelines.
• Handles orders from suppliers and processes returns.
