Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Supervisor to oversee IV room operations and supervise the pharmacy technician staff. The role ensures smooth, accurate processes and aligns with policy standards.

Preferred candidates hold a CPhT with CSPT eligibility and have 5+ years of tech experience or 1 year in a lead role, with state licensure as required. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have a high school diploma or GED with pharmacy technician credentials.
• CPhT certification is required; CSPT is required within 12 months if supervising compounding techs.
• Licensed or registered as required by state law and able to work in a regulated pharmacy setting.
• Minimum 5 years of pharmacy technician experience or 1 year as lead/supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational leadership of pharmacy technician operations in the IV room.
• Identify staffing needs, approve schedules, and supervise technicians.
• Prepare aseptic IV admixtures and maintain quality control in the clean room.
