Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola is seeking a Pharmacy Services leader to coordinate rotating shifts and oversee pharmacy technicians under pharmacist supervision. You will drive daily activities, ensure policy compliance, and contribute to department problem-solving and staff development.

The role requires pharamcy tech licensure (PTCB or Florida Board), a suitable education path (HS equivalency with experience or an associate/technical degree), and a full-time schedule in Pensacola, FL.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or Florida Board of Pharmacy prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead or coordinate shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and/or associates; Serve as a technical or functional resource and perform similar duties as associates they lead.
• Assign, monitor and review progress of work; monitor and report compliance with policies and procedures; resolve scheduling issues as needed.
• Oversee daily activities of the pharmacy technicians under the direction of the pharmacists and management.
• Assist with specialty projects and tasks as assigned by Pharmacy management and participate in problem solving within the department.
• Provide input into hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff.
