Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• 3 years Pharmacy experience in a hospital setting. Required.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician State of Florida Upon Hire Required
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) within 6 Months Required

Responsibilities

• Serves as a liaison between pharmacy leadership and technical staff, fostering effective communication and accountability.
• Performs advanced duties to support workload and continuity of services, including emergency preparedness activities.
• Oversees medication distribution processes, pharmacy automation systems, and technician workflow to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
• Coordinates sterile compounding operations and ensures compliance with USP <797> and USP <800> requirements.
• Monitors IV inventory and supports competency assessments, environmental monitoring, and quality assurance programs.
