Job summary

MultiCare Health System in Tacoma, WA, is seeking a Supervisor - Specialty Pharmacy to oversee daily operations across the health system's specialty pharmacy, reporting to the Manager of Specialty Pharmacies & Medication Assistance.

This role partners with clinic staff, manufacturers and payers to expand networks, maintain accreditation, and develop clinical programs that support all aspects of specialty pharmacy.

Qualifications

• Accredited ASHP residency preferred.
• Washington Pharmacist License in good standing.
• Specialty, Oncology, Neurology, or Rheumatology credentials preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years clinical or specialty pharmacy experience.
• Minimum two (2) years of retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory or lead capacity experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the health system's specialty pharmacy.
• Develop and maintain efficient specialty pharmacy workflows.
• Build strong relationships with clinic staff, manufacturers and payers.
• Maintain accreditation standards and quality programs.
• Develop clinical programs and operations across specialty pharmacy.
