Qualifications

• Licensed as a pharmacist in the State of Washington.
• Completion of an ASHP accredited pharmacy residency preferred.
• Minimum one year of pharmacy experience preferred in hospital, retail, clinic or other setting.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient outreach to ensure accurate and timely filling of specialty pharmaceuticals.
• Collaborate with clinic staff to connect patients with MHS specialty pharmacy resources.
• Process prior authorization (PA) requests from specialty clinics.
• Determine patient eligibility and enroll patients in copay assistance and medication assistance programs when appropriate.
