Job summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking a Pharmacist for Specialty Services in Washington. You will provide guidance to patients and families, support specialty pharmacy processes, and work with clinic staff to connect patients with resources.

The role emphasizes patient education, collaboration with care teams, and enrollment in assistance programs, with a focus on accurate specialty medication fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a pharmacist in the State of Washington.
• ASHP accredited pharmacy residency preferred.
• Minimum one year of pharmacy experience preferred.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient outreach to ensure accurate and timely filling of specialty pharmaceuticals.
• Collaborate with clinic staff to connect patients with specialty pharmacy resources.
• Process prior authorization (PA) requests from specialty clinics.
• Determine patient eligibility and enroll patients in copay and medication assistance programs when appropriate.
