Job summary

MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital in Tacoma, WA, is seeking a Supervisor – Specialty Pharmacy to oversee daily operations of the health system's specialty pharmacy, working under the Manager – Specialty Pharmacies & Medication Assistance Program.

The role focuses on efficient workflows, building strong relationships with clinic staff, collaborating with manufacturers and payers to expand networks, and maintaining accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold WA Pharmacist license in good standing.
• ASHP residency is preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years clinical or specialty pharmacy experience.
• Two years retail pharmacy experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise daily operations of the health system's specialty pharmacy.
• Develop and maintain efficient specialty pharmacy workflows; collaborate with clinic staff.
• Build strong relationships with manufacturers and payers to expand specialty pharmacy networks.
• Maintain accreditation standards and develop clinical programs supporting specialty pharmacy.
• Lead and mentor staff within the specialty pharmacy operations.
