Job summary

MultiCare Health System's Tacoma General Hospital team seeks a Specialty Pharmacy Navigator to support pharmacy operations under licensed pharmacist supervision. Qualifications

• Current Washington State Board of Pharmacy Technician License.
• Minimum two (2) years of pharmacy experience, preferably in retail.
• Experience working directly with specialty medication programs or in a specialty Pharmacy.
• Retail Pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Receiving orders via telephone, fax, and printers and directly from customers.
• Phone call follow-ups with patients, providers and pharmacy staff regarding medication orders and claim status.
• Provide guidance and education to patients and their families under supervision of a pharmacist.
• Work situations are routine duties requiring organization and attention to detail.
