Job summary

Weis Markets, Inc. is seeking a pharmacist to join its retail pharmacy team. You will ensure accuracy of prescriptions, provide patient counseling, and participate in immunization programs.

You will supervise pharmacy technicians, train staff, and maintain inventory while complying with all federal and state regulations. The ideal candidate holds a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy with an Immunization Certification and has strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) and Immunization Certification required.
• Experience supervising pharmacy technicians is a plus.
• Strong customer service and counseling skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy of prescriptions through drug utilization review and final QA.
• Provide immunization and MTM programs when available.
• Supervise pharmacy staff on duty and train associates.
• Maintain inventory and meet customer demand while controlling costs.
• Collaborate with physicians to resolve prescription issues.
• Maintain pharmacy security and comply with laws and regulations.
