Job summary

UCI Health is seeking an Outpatient Specialty Pharmacy Clinical Lead (OSPCL) to oversee the clinical, administrative and financial aspects of our outpatient specialty pharmacy services, ensuring safe and effective therapies across cancer centers and clinics.

The OSPCL will partner with pharmacy management to design programs, lead clinical pharmacists, drive quality improvement, and support accreditation efforts while expanding services and securing optimal reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a licensed pharmacist in a hospital pharmacy or equivalent.
• Qualifications to perform clinical oversight for the services provided.
• Licensed to practice a health profession in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
• Active licensed pharmacist in good standing with the CA Board of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct clinical, administrative, and financial aspects of outpatient specialty pharmacy.
• Design, plan and implement pharmacy-related clinical programs.
• Direct specialty clinical pharmacists and lead quality management / policy development.
• Collaborate to ensure optimal reimbursement and growth of outpatient specialty services.
