Job summary

Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute (OCSRI) is seeking an Outpatient Retail Oncology Pharmacist to lead our outpatient pharmacy as Pharmacist in Charge (PIC). This role blends patient care, operations, and team leadership in a specialized oncology setting to ensure timely access to medications and personalized education for patients.

The ideal candidate has a PharmD with Oklahoma licensure, clinical oncology experience, and strong collaboration skills to work with physicians,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred.
• Current and unrestricted Oklahoma Pharmacist license required.
• Retail, specialty, ambulatory, or oncology pharmacy experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with oncology medications, IV admixture, and/or cleanroom compounding highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the outpatient retail pharmacy.
• Ensure safe, accurate dispensing and regulatory compliance.
• Provide medication counseling to patients and caregivers.
• Lead and train pharmacy staff and technicians.
• Collaborate with providers and care teams to resolve medication-related issues.
• Assist patients with medication access and cost-saving opportunities.
• Monitor inventory and high-cost medication purchasing strategies.
• Maintain compliance with the OCSRI program and ethical standards.
