UnitedHealth Group's CPS unit seeks an Outpatient Staff Pharmacist to apply clinical expertise in evaluating orders, dispensing medications, and counseling patients for safe, effective therapy. You will collaborate with providers and payers to support positive patient outcomes.

The role includes comprehensive benefits, REMS and regulatory responsibilities, and ongoing participation in quality improvement initiatives. Location: Winamac, IN, with standard hours.

Competenze

• PharmD or BS Pharmacy degree from ACPE-accredited program.
• Indiana pharmacist license or ability to obtain licensure.

Mansioni

• Evaluate and interpret medication orders and prescriptions.
• Compound and dispense medications in accordance with legal and professional standards.
• Educate and counsel patients on medication use, adherence, side effects, and expected outcomes.
• Collaborate with providers, payers, and manufacturers to support access to therapy and continuity of care.
• Manage prior authorizations and utilization management activities.
• Monitor medication safety, effectiveness, adherence, and patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with REMS requirements and applicable accreditation standards.
• Support quality improvement initiatives, regulatory reporting, and pharmacy performance metrics.
• Identify and resolve medication-related issues to help optimize patient care and outcomes.
