Job summary

Creative Compounding RX, a 503A sterile compounding pharmacy based in Arlington, Texas, seeks a Pharmacist in Charge to lead our compounding operations and ensure regulatory compliance across a multi‑state license portfolio. The PIC will oversee day‑to‑day pharmacy activities, sterile and non‑sterile compounding, and licensing responsibilities.

The ideal candidate holds a Texas Pharmacist license and a PharmD, with 1–2 years in sterile compounding. Prior PIC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist license in Texas (required).
• PharmD or equivalent pharmacy degree.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in sterile compounding (503A).
• Experience as Pharmacist in Charge preferred but not required.
• Experience managing multi‑state licensure and compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the designated Pharmacist in Charge for the facility and act as the primary point of contact for state boards of pharmacy and regulatory inspections
• Ensure ongoing compliance with 503A regulations, USP <795>/<797>/<800> standards, and CGMP-aligned practices
• Oversee sterile and non‑sterile compounding operations, including staff training, competency assessments, and SOPs
• Maintain and renew multi-state pharmacy licenses and PIC designations as needed
• Review and approve compounding formulations, beyond-use dating, and quality control procedures
• Maintain records for inventory and compounding logs (non‑controlled substances only)
• Collaborate with ownership/management on quality assurance and operational improvements
