Job summary

Omnicare, a CVS Health company, is hiring a Pharmacist for its Long-Term Care Pharmacy. You will ensure accurate dispensing, regulatory compliance and high-quality service in a fast-paced LTC setting.

The role requires a Pharm.D. or Pharm.D./BS degree, OH license in good standing, and strong English communication. On-site work with comprehensive benefits and a focus on patient safety.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy required.
• Current license to practice pharmacy in OH, in good standing.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day operations in the pharmacy in relation to workflow, production quotas and deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Maintain compliance with DEA policies and Omnicare procedures.
• Ensure compliance with third-party payor contract rules.
• Supervise staff for timely order entry, workflow and delivery schedules.
• Check accuracy of labels, orders and drug packaging.
• Perform prospective drug utilization reviews and ensure patient safety.
