Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join our team in Downingtown, PA. You will deliver patient-centered clinical services, including immunizations, MTM, and preventive care, while leading pharmacy technicians and maintaining safety and compliance.

You will review prescriptions, counsel patients, collaborate with physicians, and drive pharmacy performance through quality care and community health initiatives.

Qualifications

• Active pharmacist license in the state of practice is required.
• Current immunization certification is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations is essential.

Responsibilities

• Practice at the top of your license by delivering patient-centered clinical services, including immunizations and MTM.
• Lead, coach, and support pharmacy technicians and associates in delivering exceptional customer service.
• Help create a culture focused on safety, quality, and operational excellence.
• Support pharmacy performance through prescription growth, customer engagement, and clinical services.
• Promote preventive care and wellness programs that improve the health of our communities.
• Champion immunizations, medication adherence, health screenings, and other patient care initiatives.
• Accurately review and dispense prescription medications in accordance with regulations.
• Counsel patients on medication therapy, adherence, side effects, and disease management.
• Administer immunizations and other pharmacist-provided clinical services.
• Collaborate with physicians to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain proper inventory levels, medication security, and controlled substance accountability.
• Oversee prescription workflow to deliver safe, efficient, and timely service.
• Work closely with store leadership to support pharmacy and company initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement.
