Job summary

Giant Food is seeking a Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team. You will ensure safe, accurate dispensing and deliver exceptional patient care in a retail setting.

The ideal candidate will hold a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, possess an active state license, and have immunization and MTM certifications, with 2–5+ years of retail experience. You will collaborate with store leadership and healthcare providers to maintain compliance and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license in the state of employment.
• Immunization certification (APhA or state equivalent).
• MTM certification where applicable.
• 2–5+ years retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations and HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Verify prescriptions and provide counseling to patients.
• Oversee pharmacy workflow and staff.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safe dispensing.
• Support immunization and clinical service programs in-store and in the community.
• Handle third-party insurance processing and billing.
