Job summary

Giant Food seeks a Pharmacist to ensure safe dispensing and patient care in a retail pharmacy setting. You will verify prescriptions, counsel patients, provide immunization services, and support health initiatives while collaborating with pharmacy technicians and store leadership.

The role requires PharmD, active license in Delaware, immunization and MTM certifications, and 2–5+ years in retail pharmacy, with strong regulatory knowledge and insurance processing familiarity.

Qualifications

• PharmD from an accredited institution.
• Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of employment.
• Immunization certification (e.g., approved program).
• MTM certification where applicable.
• 2–5+ years of retail pharmacy experience.
• Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations, HIPAA, and controlled substances.
• Familiarity with third‑party insurance processing and reimbursement.
