Job summary

ECHO Consulting Group seeks an experienced engineer to lead pharmaceutical laboratory construction projects in Puerto Rico. You will drive design, execution, and commissioning, ensuring regulatory and quality standards are met.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering and 5 years of related experience, with strong leadership and communication skills to manage multidisciplinary teams and complex lab facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering plus 5 years of engineering experience.
• Experience leading laboratory construction projects in pharmaceutical/biotech environments.
• Strong knowledge of GLP/GMP, validation, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full lifecycle of pharmaceutical laboratory construction projects from concept to handover.
• Develop engineering strategies focused on process optimization and compliance.
• Lead development and approval of engineering documents, drawings, and reports.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, and internal stakeholders to integrate requirements.
