Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Stamford, CT is seeking a senior Lead—Performance Testing—to lead performance engineering initiatives for mission-critical banking applications using LoadRunner and Dynatrace. You will define strategies, model workloads, and drive scalability and reliability across multiple banking domains.

The role involves hands-on script development with VuGen, TruClient, REST, Kafka and MQ, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and Azure DevOps, mentoring

Qualifications

• Lead performance engineering initiatives for mission-critical banking applications.
• Define performance testing strategies, workload models, capacity planning and NFRs.
• Design, develop, and optimize performance scripts using LoadRunner tools and vakREST/SOAP.
• Execute large-scale load, stress, endurance, and spike testing with CI/CD integration.
• Monitor performance with Dynatrace/Splunk; perform root cause analysis and tuning.
• Collaborate with architects, devs and infra; mentor onsite/offshore teams.
• Present findings and drive continuous performance improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead performance testing strategies for enterprise banking apps.
• Design workload models and test plans based on business and NFRs.
• Develop and maintain performance scripts using LoadRunner and related tools.
• Execute tests at scale and analyze application behavior under peak load.
• Monitor performance end-to-end and perform root cause analysis.
• Integrate testing into CI/CD and establish automated validation gates.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to review results and drive improvements.
• Lead and mentor onsite/offshore teams and enforce testing standards.
