Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Stamford, CT is seeking a senior performance engineering lead for mission-critical banking applications. You will define strategies, model workloads, and ensure scalability through robust test scripts using VuGen, REST APIs, SOAP, Kafka, and MQ protocols.

You will drive large-scale load tests, integrate validations into CI/CD with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub, and GitLab, and monitor with Dynatrace, Splunk, and Grafana to propose targeted optimizations.

Qualifications

• Lead performance engineering initiatives for mission-critical banking applications.
• Define performance testing strategies, workload models, and non-functional requirements.
• Design, develop, and optimize performance test scripts using VuGen, REST APIs, SOAP, Kafka, and MQ.
• Execute large-scale load, stress, endurance, and spike testing and integrate into CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor performance with Dynatrace, Splunk, and Grafana, and provide tuning recommendations.
• Collaborate with architects, development, and business teams to drive optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite/offshore performance testing teams and mentor engineers.
• Define and lead performance testing strategies for enterprise banking apps.
• Design workload models, test scenarios, and performance test plans.
• Develop and maintain performance test scripts across tools and protocols.
• Coordinate with CI/CD pipelines to establish automated validations and quality gates.
