Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union is seeking a Senior Performance Engineer to lead the design, development, and execution of load, performance, and stress tests for highly complex platforms.

You will own the performance testing framework, environment design, and data needs, while analyzing results and advising on optimizations. Collaboration across IT and business units will establish non-functional requirements and workload models for production realities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years QA with performance testing focus.
• Expertise with performance testing tools (JMeter/LoadNinja/LoadRunner).
• Experience designing and executing service-level and end-to-end tests.
• Proficiency in Java and Python.
• Experience leading nonfunctional requirements gathering and workload modeling.
• Ability to translate metrics for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and execution of performance and stress tests.
• Develop and maintain performance testing framework and tools.
• Analyze results and recommend optimizations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define load scenarios and requirements.
• Produce formal performance test strategies, reports and dashboards.
