Job summary

Meta seeks a Staff PCB Layout Engineer to drive the design and delivery of complex PCBs for large-scale infrastructure hardware. You will define layout architecture and engineering standards for high-speed digital, power, and signal integrity-critical designs powering Meta's data centers.

Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing teams from concept to mass production to ensure reliability and performance at scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of PCB layout design for high-speed digital systems (DDR/PCIe/SerDes).
• Expertise in stack-up configurations, impedance control, and design rules for high-layer-count boards.
• Ability to translate SI/PI simulations into layout decisions and guidance.
• Experience leading layout efforts across the product development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Define PCB layout architecture and floorplanning for complex boards.
• Establish and own layout rules, constraints, and guidelines for high-speed interfaces.
• Lead SI/PI analysis and drive layout decisions from simulations.
• Drive DF/M manufacturing reviews to meet yield and cost targets.
• Maintain organization-wide layout standards and templates.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing teams.
• Provide technical guidance to layout engineers across programs.
• Lead post-layout verification including ERC/RDC checks and bring-up support.
