Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of payroll tax experience with complex defect resolution and multi-state filings.
• Lead, senior specialist, or SME with coaching/mentoring of junior staff.
• Expert knowledge of tax payments and filing regs across US jurisdictions including local taxes.
• Advanced writing skills for SOPs and technical docs for a tax processor audience.
• Demonstrated ownership of SLAs and proactive resolution of workflow blockers.
• Validation-first mindset; present vetted solutions to leadership.
• 5+ years handling highly sensitive customer/internal escalations with minimal guidance.
• 4+ years in contact center or back-office operations for high-volume service needs.
• Comfort with using AI tools to improve daily tasks and workflows.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the primary real-time technical expert for TP1, TP2, and TP3 staff and teach resolution paths.
• Own authoring, reviewing, and approving SOPs and KB articles across core operations.
• Conduct quarterly coaching sessions using SBIC feedback model to close skill gaps.
• Lead or support team huddles and daily stand-ups when needed.
• Oversee WIP, backlog reduction, and aging reports; advise on staffing with the M1 manager.
• Resolve severe payroll tax notices including IRS/state penalties with audits.
• Approve complex amended Federal and State returns with audit trails.
• Identify trends, compliance risks, and Known Issues; report with data-backed recommendations.
• Represent team in cross-functional meetings with a focus on compliance and risk mitigation.
