You will review timekeeping, process new hires and terminations, resolve discrepancies, maintain accurate records, and ensure deadlines are met weekly while handling confidential information.

Qualifications

• Experience handling large-scale, high-volume payroll from start to finish.
• Experience with timekeeping systems and reviewing hours and punches.
• Strong attention to detail in payroll accuracy and data handling.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict weekly deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and oversee weekly payroll for a large workforce.
• Review hours, punches, overtime, missed punches, and timekeeping issues.
• Verify payroll information for accuracy before submission.
• Process new hires, terminations, pay-rate changes, deductions, and other employee updates.
• Research and correct payroll discrepancies quickly.
• Maintain organized and accurate payroll records and documentation.
• Coordinate directly with our outside payroll provider.
• Assist employees and management with payroll-related questions and issues.
• Ensure payroll deadlines are consistently met.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll and employee information.
• Help improve payroll procedures and controls as the company grows.
• Ensure payroll processes follow applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
