London Approach in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to lead day-to-day payroll operations for multiple groups. You will process payroll, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and mentor a payroll team in a high-volume environment.

The ideal candidate has hands-on ADP experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to resolve issues and improve payroll processes while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive payroll experience with hands-on processing.
• Experience leading or supervising a payroll team.
• Strong experience with ADP platforms in a high-volume, multi-state setup.
• Knowledge of federal/state/local payroll regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle payroll for multiple groups/entities.
• Lead and mentor payroll team members.
• Ensure timely payroll processing and accuracy.
• Oversee weekly to biweekly/other cycles and tax withholdings.
• Prepare payroll reports and GL reconciliations.
• Coordinate with HR, Benefits, Finance, and other departments.
• Oversee year-end activities and W-2s.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll data.
