Bexar County is seeking a Pavement Marking Operator III - C to lead its Traffic Department's pavement marking programs. The role oversees maintenance and repair of traffic control devices, provides technical guidance, and manages projects with a high degree of autonomy while ensuring safety regulations are followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5 years in traffic control device maintenance; 3+ years supervisory.
• In-depth knowledge of TX MUTCD guidelines.
• Valid Texas driver's license with clean record; pass background and drug screening; CDL-A within 12 months.

Responsabilités

• Supervises and trains Pavement Marking Operators I and II
• Oversees complex traffic related projects
• Leads the installation, maintenance and repair of all pavement marking traffic control devices
• Performs inspections and prepares reports on the condition of all pavement marking traffic control systems
• Coordinate with engineers and other departments on traffic control projects
• Ensures compliance with all safety regulations and procedures
• Prepares technical reports and maintains detailed documentation
• May operate department vehicles for transporting materials and equipment
• Operate thermoplastic equipment
• Performs other duties as assigned
