Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in a patient account-related position.
• 5 years billing and payer experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and payer policies preferred.
• UB-04 and modifiers knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure workflows are followed and serve as a resource for staff.
• Troubleshoot complex billing scenarios and escalate as needed.
• Assist with special projects and staff training, including training new employees.
• Manage accounts receivable activities to optimize revenue and customer experience.
