Job summary

U.S. Urology Partners, a leading urology network, seeks a Lead Patient Access Representative to oversee daily front-desk operations and coach the PAR team in the East Coast/Midwest region. The role focuses on sensitive patient interactions, accurate scheduling, and insurance coordination.

As a subject-matter expert, you will train new PARs, manage staffing templates, and support prior authorization workflows while maintaining HIPAA privacy and patient dignity in all interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Three to five years of medical front-office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of urology workflows and insurance requirements is highly valued.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems and scheduling platforms.

Responsibilities

• Perform all Patient Access Representative duties, including check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, and patient payments.
• Provide compassionate, discreet service for sensitive urologic conditions.
• Serve as front-line escalation resource for PARs on patient concerns and scheduling issues.
• Train and onboard new PARs on front desk workflows and terminology.
