Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a Lead Patient Access Rep at the Lansdale Campus to support Outpatient and ER Registration. The role covers Monday–Friday days (7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.) with every-other weekend and holiday commitments.

Strong communication and staff training skills are essential to ensure accurate data entry and a positive patient experience. Minimum education is a high school diploma or GED with at least 3 years of patient registration experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of patient registration experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to Patient Access Representatives.
• Act as a subject matter and technical expert for the team.
• Ensure a positive patient experience for patients and families.
• Train staff to enter complete and accurate orders, demographics and insurance information including authorizations, referrals, and medical necessity.
• Ensure staff compliance with protocols and collect out-of-pocket liability from patients.
