Job summary

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group is seeking a passionate Pastry Chef to lead our dessert program across our restaurants in Rogers, Arkansas. You will craft a signature dessert menu, mentor pastry cooks, and ensure high standards of quality and consistency in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

As a leader on the pastry team, you’ll develop recipe cards, train staff, and collaborate with the Executive Chef to maintain alignment with concept and guest expectations, while upholding strict sanitary

Qualifications

Proven experience as a successful Pastry Chef.
3+ years of experience in a pastry kitchen.
Strong attention to detail.
Creative with a problem-solving approach.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Must be available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Craft a dessert menu aligned with the concept and locale in collaboration with the Executive Chef.
Create detailed recipe cards and ensure consistent use by pastry cooks.
Mentor and develop future pastry chefs; foster a positive team culture.
Communicate openly with other chefs and adapt recipes based on feedback.
Maintain a clean, sanitary station compliant with regulations (DHEC).
Report shortages or equipment issues to the Executive Chef.
Attend staff meetings and contribute improvement ideas.
Ensure the guest experience remains the top priority.
