Qualifications

• Experience leading daily passenger scheduling operations.
• Familiarity with CTS or similar scheduling tools.
• Strong coordination between schedulers, dispatchers, drivers and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily passenger scheduling process and provide direction to transportation schedulers.
• Review CTS-generated schedules and adjust for route efficiency.
• Maximize productive trips with available drivers and vehicles.
• Identify opportunities for trip grouping and geographic clustering for efficiency.
• Monitor vehicle capacity, driver availability, service areas, and passenger needs when building schedules.
• Minimize deadhead mileage and unproductive driver time.
• Coordinate with dispatch to respond to cancellations, changes, delays, or unexpected needs.
• Restructure trips to maintain efficient service when necessary.
• Support established geographic operating patterns while remaining flexible for demand-response transport.
• Track KPI metrics like trips per vehicle, on-time performance, and utilization.
