Job summary

Senior LIFE PACE in Johnstown, PA is seeking an Experienced Route Scheduler to join our growing transportation team. This role focuses on assigning and monitoring routes for paratransit drivers, with a preference for candidates having scheduling/logistics experience in medical transportation.

You will collaborate with care teams to create optimal environments for members, train coordinators and drivers, and ensure accurate member information is maintained.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with paratransit or medical transportation is preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities.

Experienced Route Scheduler Needed to Join a Growing Transportation Team

We are currently seeking an experienced Route Scheduler to assign and monitor route schedules for paratransit drivers. Preferred experience would include previous experience in scheduling/logistics, preferably within the medical transportation field.

Day-to-day responsibilities

• Determining the best possible routes for member pick up/drop off
• Communicating with members, families, and care teams
• Maintaining up-to-date member subscription and contact information
• Training new and existing Transportation Coordinators and drivers
• Creating new routes and schedules based on member enrollment

In addition to these duties, the Scheduler will work with care teams (doctors, social workers, nurses, coordinators, and caregivers) to create the best possible environment for members.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED. All candidates must show strong critical thinking skills and the ability to compare/contrast many potential situations.
