Job summary

Villanova University is looking for a Lead Parking Enforcement Officer to oversee parking operations on campus. The role includes issuing tickets via LPR, maintaining equipment, and assisting with event parking to optimize space and reduce congestion.

The position requires a HS diploma and experience in parking operations or a university setting, with strong customer service and the ability to work evenings Mon-Sat. This is a full-time, hourly role with pay in the posted range.

Qualifications

• Must be organized and detail-oriented with good customer service skills and a positive friendly approach and demeanor.
• Knowledge of using handheld tablets.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and meet Villanova driving privileges as outlined by risk management policies.

Responsibilities

• Issue parking tickets using an automated License Plate Recognition (LPR) system.
• Ensure parking equipment is well maintained and operational.
• Collect cash and credit card receipts from multiple pay stations in the university parking garage and exit gates.
• Help set up the parking garage/lot for events with cones and barricades to direct vehicles and maximize spaces.
• Assist with traffic flow for entry and exit during events.
• Report accidents, safety hazards, maintenance repairs, or suspicious activities to supervisor.
• Perform other duties and assist with projects as assigned.
