Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation seeks a Sr Process Engineer for the Paint Shop to lead the development and control of electrocoat, sealing, and topcoat processes. You will supervise a team of process engineers through installation, commissioning, and operation of a new paint facility, with third shift operations in EST.

You will drive continuous improvement, ensure safety and productivity, manage capital projects, and collaborate with operations and design teams to optimize system performance and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Three or more years related experience in automotive or industrial Paint, Electrocoating, and Robotic application operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for assigned engineers and technicians.
• Lead paint process engineers in operational control, continuous improvement, and troubleshooting.
• Develop your assigned team members and manage departmental projects.
• Lead Paint manufacturing line design and launch—system design, engineering acceptance, installation, and commissioning.
• Oversee system operational controls—defect reduction, system chemistry, equipment uptime.
