Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation, Inc. seeks a maintenance technician to perform basic to intermediate upkeep on manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure.

You will handle scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, and support 6S safety standards in a fast-paced environment. The role requires reading electrical diagrams, forklift operation, and CMMS experience, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular on-site attendance and reliability to meet production demands.
• Experience in industrial, mechanical, electrical or moving vehicle maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled and unplanned maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment.
• Maintain and repair machinery such as CNC and manual machine tools, forklifts, AGVs, paint systems, robots, welders, and compressed air systems.
• Service facility systems including HVAC, lighting, sprinkler systems, plumbing, and office fixtures.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and rebuild mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Record materials used and requisition parts using electronic devices (iPad, iPhone, laptops).
• Assist with relocating and organizing production and office spaces.
• Support special projects directed by Maintenance or Plant Leadership.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with 6S standards.
• Assist contractors and coordinate materials logistics, including pick-up and delivery.
• Ensure regular, reliable attendance.
