Job summary

Oshkosh Delivery, An Oshkosh Company, seeks a Sr Process Engineer to lead the Paint Shop development and process control, including E-coat, sealing, and topcoat, and to guide a team through installation and commissioning of the new facility.

The role reports to the Operations Engineering Manager with 3rd shift hours (8:30 pm–5:00 am EST). Strong leadership and project management are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering required.
• 3+ years in automotive or industrial Paint, Electrocoating, and Robotic operations.
• Strong leadership and people-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for assigned engineers and technicians.
• Lead paint process engineers in operational control and continuous improvement.
• Develop team members and manage departmental projects.
• Lead paint manufacturing line design, installation, and commissioning.
• Oversee system controls, defect reduction, and equipment uptime.
• Plan major projects with manpower and cost estimates.
• Incorporate ergonomics into safety and productivity.
• Monitor progress and advise on capital equipment needs.
• Develop production process proposals.
• Support cost estimation for new product lines and extensions.
• Research make-or-buy options for tooling and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with current safety and OSHA requirements.
